We have 2.8 months of supply to start April of 2022.  To put that into perspective, 5 years ago at this time we had 13.8 months of supply.  That was a buyer's market.  We are now in a seller's market.    To determine months of inventory you take the number of homes sold in a month divided by the number of homes for sale at the end of the month.  What does months of inventory actually measure?  To give a quick answer it measures how fast homes are selling.   Okay, great what does this mean for me?  If you are thinking of selling, now is the time.  Plain and simple, do it today.  This is the strongest seller’s market I have seen in 27 years of selling real estate.  Don’t be one of the people that sells too cheap.  Call John Today.
